User acceptance testing goes wrong long before the session starts: nobody agreed what acceptable means, the invite went out late, and sign-off is an email that says “looks good”. These notes cover how I set UAT up so business owners make a ship-or-wait decision from evidence.

The same habits apply outside UAT. Stakeholders stay aligned when they are sent short written evidence at a steady rhythm, and when meetings are kept for the decisions only they can make.
